What makes our attars different
An attar is a concentrated oil-based perfume traditionally made by hydro-distilling flowers, wood, or herbs into a sandalwood or paraffin base. Gandha Mandira's attars stay faithful to that heritage — we age our sandal attar for months so the wood softens into the base, and our rose attar uses petals steam-distilled to capture the whole flower rather than a single aroma chemical. Built on a pure oil and perfume-premix base, attars sit close, warming with body heat, and last far longer than conventional sprays — often 10–14 hours from a single dab on the pulse. This also makes them appropriate for daily prayer, meditation, and those who find spray perfumes too harsh.
